Hexon | Rubber Coated Cast Iron Hex Dumbbell Pair with Welded Chrome Handle

Cast iron heads under a durable rubber coating. The six flat faces stop the dumbbell rolling away when you set it down mid circuit, and the coating takes the shock out of the landing, which keeps the noise and the floor damage down.

The handle is solid steel, high grade electroplated to a mirror chrome finish, and it is welded directly to the cast iron head rather than pressed in afterwards. One solid piece, nothing to work loose. Knurling runs at 0.25 to 0.35mm on both sides of the handle with a smooth centre mark, deep enough to hold a sweaty grip without tearing at the palm.

Every head carries its weight embossed into both hex faces in kilograms, so the right pair is obvious at a glance on a rack or a floor. Weights are held to a tolerance of plus or minus two percent. Nothing to assemble, nothing to adjust.

A note on new rubber: rubber coated cast iron can carry a faint rubber smell for the first week or two out of the box. That is normal for the material and it fades with air. We would rather tell you than let you wonder.
